Professional profile · Oil & Gas
Senior Materials & MRO, Maintenance Supply Chain, Inventory Strategy & Technical Procurement
With 20 years in oil & gas materials and maintenance support, I bring together engineering requirements, inventory intelligence, technical evaluation and procurement strategy into one decision framework. The objective is simple: the right material, technically assured, commercially executable and available when operations need it
From signal to decision.

From operational need to maintenance execution.
Maintenance work creates the material requirement, linked to asset, scope, criticality and required date.
Confirm material master, equipment/BOM link, specification and maintenance demand context.
Check warehouse balance, reservations, open PR/PO supply, Min-Max and availability before buying.
Challenge demand against stock, incoming supply, transfers and excess risk. Purchase is the last option.
Assess supplier offers, compatibility, certificates, evidence and clarifications before recommendation.
Convert approved demand into RFQ, PO/CON, supplier follow-up and expediting.
Verify quantity, part number, documents, certificates, condition and specification before acceptance.
Protect material by criticality, manufacturer guidance, storage conditions and planned-use date.
Confirm material is available, technically assured, correctly stored and ready for issue.
Deliver the right material when maintenance needs it and close the supply loop.
01Professional identity
I connect field reality, SAP data, technical requirements and supply constraints, then turn them into a decision that can be explained, audited and executed.
I work where maintenance demand, materials, inventory, procurement and operational risk meet. My value is not only in processing material requirements. It is in turning fragmented signals into decisions, workflows and systems that people can trust. My career progressed from CMMS and spare-parts engineering through materials management to superintendent leadership, plant-wide inventory responsibility, preservation governance, procurement support, reporting and digital workflow design.

01Maintenance
Annual plans, condition checks, corrosion and packaging controls, fit-for-use.
Planned and corrective spares, turnaround materials, long-lead items, criticality.
Equipment linkage, technical data QC, spare-part association, project handover.

02Inventory
Spare parts strategy, stock availability, replenishment, Min-Max, critical materials.
Excess reduction, slow and dead stock, working capital, obsolescence, alternatives.

03Supply
Suitability, proposals, certificates, compatibility, clarification and evidence.
Pre- and post-award support, forecasting, expediting, issue resolution, C&P coordination.

04Systems
PR, PO, CON, reservations, work-order demand, manufacturer and part number, UoM.
Budget inputs, prioritisation, KPI and backlog visibility, management reporting.
Team supervision, staff development, procedures, automation, scalable workflows.
03Career journey
Not a sequence of job titles. An expansion of scope: from material lines and spare parts to people, governance, cross-functional decisions and system design.
Full career and leadership04Leadership and teamwork
Use the available signals before adding demand, cost or risk.
A task is finished when the outcome is clear, not when it moved.
Recurring problems deserve a rule, a workflow or a governance fix.
Firm on quality and responsibility, without losing respect for people.

I worked with Sabit Trumov for about two years, and I can confirm that he has solid experience in materials management, procurement, and field operations. He has a deep understanding of KPO facilities, including KPC, Unit 2, Unit 3, and the Eco Center. During our time together, Sabit showed great technical skills in SAP MM modules and master data governance. He played a key role in keeping master data accurate and organized across different departments. His daily work and technical knowledge were essential for maintaining high data quality and smooth field operations. Sabit is very strong in procurement analytics and inventory control. He expertly handled field spare parts management, tracked material in vs. out reports, managed purchase requests, and analyzed total stock status costs on a monthly basis. He also created clear, detailed year-end waterfall charts split by procurement costs, which helped the team better understand financial trends and stock movements. In addition to his technical capabilities, Sabit has excellent communication skills. He speaks freely, clearly, and confidently with senior management, including the Maintenance Manager, Field Manager, and Operations Director. He easily translates complex data into simple, actionable insights for decision-makers. Sabit is a reliable, hardworking, and result-oriented professional who combines practical field experience with strong analytical thinking. I highly recommend him for any senior position in supply chain, material management, or master data governance.
Even though we did not work closely together on a day-to-day basis, he always came across as a knowledgeable and highly competent professional whom colleagues could rely on for advice and support. He was always willing to share his expertise, experience, and valuable information, helping others find solutions to work-related challenges. Thanks to his professionalism, approachable attitude, and willingness to help, he has earned the respect of his colleagues and is held in high regard across the organization. It is always interesting and enjoyable to work with people like him. Regardless of which team Sabit becomes a part of, he will undoubtedly strengthen it with his professionalism, knowledge, and experience.
Sabit is one of the most effective and respected leaders.
I am truly grateful to have had the opportunity to work with Sabit, such an inspiring and supportive leader. He shared a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience, always motivated me to grow, and knew how to bring out the best in each person.
One example that really stands out is the material consumption forecasting tool Sabit developed. It was designed to forecast material requirements for the next five years and is still being used by the company today. The tool combined historical consumption, the frequency of recent usage, material types, current work orders and planned material consumption, as well as existing procurement requests. He also incorporated additional criteria to make the forecast more accurate and practical.
The resulting forecast provided a clear quantitative view of future material requirements and became an important basis for building the future budget for a specific contract. To me, this is a great example of how Sabit combined deep expertise, analytical thinking, and a practical business approach to create something with a lasting impact.
What I appreciated most was his ability to find an individual approach to every person and make everyone feel heard and valued. I’m truly grateful for everything I learned from him and for the opportunity to work under his leadership.
Sabit is a highly effective Supply Chain professional with comprehensive knowledge across the entire supply chain process. He has strong expertise in materials management, procurement, inventory, and planning, with excellent knowledge of materials across various disciplines, including piping, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, and other technical areas. He also has solid overall experience in maintenance and strong leadership and management experience. Sabit consistently demonstrates excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
